We are marketing it quite a bit at the moment and are getting good results. Our friends over at Creation Social Media (CSM) pointed us to another site they had come across whilst assisting in our Social Media development.  Surprisingly, we had not seen it before which is astonishing considering it is called www.bedandbreakfastforsale.com!  When we created Sell Your B and B, we did search for that domain but I have a feeling it must either have been for sale by one of those Domain Seller companies that grab good domain names and sell them for extortionate prices or we actually had seen it and were so unimpressed that we have forgotten!   Read More...

Help, I Can't Keep Up with it all!

I sit here as an online business provider - you'd probably call me a web designer as I create websites for businesses but I prefer to define it as creating an online business that fits in with your existing business and helps you manage and market your business.  Whilst I am working out how your business operates and how we can integrate your website to help, Twitter is asking me to: Read More...

After all, a happy customer can mean a regular customer and a happy customer can mean referrals to bring in more customers. This is not rocket science and you probably already do it to a certain extent: Read More...

Launch and Forget = Stagnant Business?

Is your website active or asleep? Did you launch it 3 years ago and still expect it to be bringing you business and customers? Targeting Customers

Running a business is extremely satisfying; it is easy to start one but it is a lot harder to sustain. Having the ideal product or service is the first step but getting it to the market and to the right people is key to sustaining your business. This is why identifying your target market is an essential step and involves research and analysis, not a finger in the air. Read More...

Website Testing

It is certainly very easy to create your own website these days and publish it live and sit back and feel good that you have done a great job. But have you? How many home built websites are built by people who do not realise that there is more than just Internet Explorer out there and that Internet Explorer is perhaps unfortunately still the most un-standardised browser there is? Need an example, here we go, this is how a local website looks in Internet Explorer version 9 on 15 December 2011 - (words blurred on purpose): Read More...
